mcdonalds can be really hit or miss depending on location/employees/etc.
I was VERY satisfied with my food today. It was made very well. Everything was hot and salty and perfect. Employees were also very kind and seemed to be enjoying themselves. 10/10. I have no idea why this location's reviews aren't higher.

Best unsweetened tea around. I sometimes go through McDonald's 3 times a day just for the unsweetened tea. Great choices for food as well.

Staff of young folks very friendly towards my family and I as we came from Rocky Mount (Nash County, NC), mostly what I like is the store is clean inside and outside especially the parking outdoors. Very fast service and drive thru was moving along pretty good

We were there on Saturday evening, March 18th and noticed the hours on the door showed the dining room would be closing soon so we decided not to go in.
The female night shift manager (she gave me her name but I forgot what it is) motioned for us to come on in. We were hesitant due to the time but she was adamant that it was ok and to come on in. She offered to take our order versus making us use the annoying kiosk which was greatly appreciated. She was very courteous, personable and provided excellent customer service. I hope upper management will look at the schedule to identify the night shift manager I'm referring to and acknowledge her positive impact to the Rural Hall McDonald's. I really hope they keep her there because that location needs someone like her!! And, by the way, our meal was good too. 😊

On the flip side, we were there a few months ago for breakfast and wanted to place our order with a human versus the kiosk. The female manager would not allow us to do that and directed us to the annoying kiosk. Too bad Hardee's is no longer in Rural Hall or else we would've definitely left this McDonald's and went there. As we were waiting for our to-go order, a customer walked in and went to the counter where the same female manager abruptly told her to use the kiosk. The customer said, "I only want a coffee" but the rude female manager told her she had to order at the kiosk. Me and my husband, along with the female customer and several people who were standing close by waiting for their orders, were in disbelief that she had been treated like that over a simple cup of coffee. The female customer said forget it and left without ordering.

So, the night shift manager we met last night has the customer service skills that all employees there who interact with customers need to have themselves.

The best McDonalds ever. Fries are always made with love. Staff is always so nice. My wife just said, “I always can count on them to turn my my mood into a good mood.” No lie. Thank you guys 🙏

Went thru Drive thru and picked up food to take home. Easy in and out and everything was good!

MS Jessica Lamoreaux is awesome always nice and polite well spoken. Young women a with glasses she does a terrific job. I ran into her tonight. She ALWAYS gives me a big hug. Yes I use to work there and I know some but they treat me no differently than any other customers. Ann Brooks AWESOME been there forever she should be making as close to management even if she didn't manager she's always training someone .. Doing all and then some. Thumbs up to RURAL HALL I MISS YOU GUYS....

Only giving the 5 stars to the amazing respectful guy who took my order and after I order about 30 dollars worth of food I asked about the spicy chicken sandwich told him I had never had it and was worried bout not like it and with no hesitation at all he offered me to try it for free today on him... You just don't get good customer service like that anymore and I still order my normal and paid for it Incase I didn't like the spicy chx but this guy should definitely be rewarded in some way wish I could have got his name

I stopped by for two orders of small fries. I gave the girl in the window $20 dollar bill and 51 cents. My bill was $3.51. She handed me my receipt. I waited. I said where is my change? She started to give me $7.00 back and the lady training her said she is due back $17.00. Eventually I received my correct change. I'm thinking she must have flunked math. Lol
